The success of brilliant Russian Revolution fillies Revolutionary Miss and Russian Conquest has not been lost on yearling buyers with his fillies at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale this week proving a hot commodity.
Russian Revolution had 10 yearlings sell at an average $206,500 with his top three sellers all being fillies.
Gary Portelli paid $370,000 for the Supreme Thoroughbreds consigned filly from well bred Savabeel mare Dowager Princess, who is a full sister to Group I placed stakes-winner Dowager Queen.
China Horse Club were the buyer for Sledmere Stud’s $360,000 filly from Rhema, a proven stakes producer as the dam of Group II ATC Sweet Embrace Stakes winner Always Allison.
The half-sister to Group I winner and $1.4million earner Foxplay was offered by Vinery Stud and the filly from US stakes-winner Butters (USA) was bought by Ciaron Maher Bloodstock.
