Newgate sires impressed at the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale this week at the Gold Coast with three weanlings by our red hot sire Extreme Choice all being sold at an average $220,000.
His top seller was a gorgeous chestnut filly with flaxen mane and tail that made $360,000 for Taghadoe Stud. The third foal of Snitzel mare Majestueux, she was snapped up by Kacy Fodgen Racing.
Russian Revolution made his presence felt with a cracking colt from Calzini Bianchi that made $325,000 for Elswick Park when bought by Trilogy Racing.
Elswick Park sold a full sister to this colt at Inglis Classic this year for $65,000 to Ciaron Maher Bloodstock and the mare is back in foal again to Russian Revolution.
Capitalist had a big draft at this sale with 13 selling at an average $132,208 and his top seller was the Emirates Park bred and consigned filly from young stakes-winning I Am Invincible mare Espaaniyah that was bought by Alice Berry for $270,000.
He also had another four weanlings sell for $200,000 or more.
Deep Field had only the one weanling sold, but he was a an eye-catcher, a powerful chestnut colt from Germanotta offered in the Spendthrift Dispersal that made $220,000 when bought by Trilogy Racing.
