Newgate finished as the leading vendor by aggregate at the 2022 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale selling 49 yearlings for $5,685,000 to a wide variety of buyers with the star of our draft the $550,000 Deep Field colt from Spellbinder bought by Bon Ho.
Our stallions were in hot demand with Deep Field the leading sire by aggregate with 29 of his yearlings selling for $4,350,000, just ahead of Capitalist, who had 29 sell for $4,335,000.
Russian Revolution was third on the list with 25 selling for $3,805,000, while Extreme Choice had all seven of his prized yearlings offered sell for $2,470,000 to be fifth, giving Newgate four of the top five sires by aggregate.
Extreme Choice had the top sellers of the sale with colts from To Dubawi Go and Murtle Turtle selling for $825,000 and $775,000.
His average of $352,857 was the best of all sires at this sale.
