Improving two-year-old Russian Warrior put upwards of eight lengths over four overmatched opponents over 1200m at Ipswich on Wednesday.
With Ron Stewart in the saddle for trainer Allan Chau, the daughter of Russian Revolution dazzled the opposition to defeat Skater by a widening eight lengths.
Consigned by Sledmere Stud to the 2021 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, Russian Warrior was bred by China Horse Club and purchased by A List Stud for $425,000, the equal highest priced yearling at the sale by her first season sire.
She is the second foal from Group II ATC Reisling Stakes winner French Fern, a daughter of Lope de Vega (IRE).
French Fern was covered by Capitalist last spring.
Russian Revolution is the leading Australian first season sire by earnings and has 30 entries for the upcoming Inglis Classic Yearling Sale.
