Newgate have already had early success with the first son of Brazen Beau on our stallion roster in Tassort and we are anticipating his high class Group II winning son North Pacific to make a similar impact with his first crop of yearlings selling for up to $260,000 at Magic Millions Book 1.
North Pacific had strong representation at this sale with 15 yearlings selling for $2,055,000 at an average price of $137,000 with 10 selling for $100,000 or more producing a nice profit for his supporters. His overall average was just over six times his 2021 service fee of $22,000.
Top seller for North Pacific was Kingstar Farm’s colt from Volkoff that made $260,000 when secured by Gandharvi Pty Ltd/Michael Freedman Racing, while his most expensive filly went to Peachester Lodge at $220,000, a lovely filly from Janast presented by Newgate Farm.
Another good sale for North Pacific was the Kenmore Lodge consigned colt from Sarong that went to Richard and Will Freedman for $200,000. He is a half-brother to their Group III winner Fashion Legend, that won the Magic Millions 3YO Guineas for them last year and they have high hopes for this colt.
North Pacific has 15 yearlings for Magic Millions Book 2 and 22 for Inglis Classic.
