Russian Revolution added another debut winner to his tally when two year-old colt Fission proved too strong at Bendigo on Saturday for Extreme Choice colt Prado, who started a short priced favourite.
Trained by Robbie Griffiths and Matt de Kock, Fission powered clear to win the 1000m maiden by a length and a quarter.
Fission was retained to race by Gleneagles Stud and is a half-brother to Group III winner Defcon being the fifth winner from five foals to race from good producer Nuclear Force.
Fission is the fifth winner for Russian Revolution, who is the leading first season sire by earnings and now equal leader by winners.
