Deep Field made his presence felt at Magic Millions on Wednesday with a sensational colt from Courageous Kitty selling for $700,000 to Lindsay Park Racing/Andrew Williams Bloodstock.
A star performer from the inaugural draft from Silverdale Farm, the colt is a brother-in-blood to good metropolitan winner Intrepidacious from unraced Courageous Kitty, a full sister to Group II winner Anaheed from Group I winner Rostova.
“He’s a quality colt that paraded well right through the sale,” said Rob Petith of Silverdale Farm.
“It was a great result for his breeders and we’re delighted Andy Williams secured the colt as we know he’s going into a great stable.”
Courageous Kitty was covered again by Deep Field last spring.
