The top lot on the second day of the Inglis Australian Weanling Sale was a lovely Deep field filly from Reginae that sold for $250,000.
Offered by the Newgate Consignment to dissolve a partnership, the filly was bought by Jim Carey and is the first foal of a winning half-sister to Group III winner Fuhyrk.
Russian Revolution made his mark with colts from Crimson and Clover and Imaginative selling for $240,000 to Arrow Park Stud and $220,000 to Musk Creek Farm, while Capitalist had the third highest priced filly of the sale with Fairhill Farm’s filly from One more Tequila selling for $210,000 to Yolo Bloodstock.
Our first season sire Brutal got his best result with the Rheinwood Pastoral consigned filly from Cheyenne Sue selling for $80,000 to Kitchwin Hills.
